About APICS San Diego Chapter

OVERVIEW:

The APICS San Diego Chapter is one of the largest and oldest of over two hundred and seventy-(270) chapters strategically located throughout North America and managed by individual volunteers respected as thought-leaders in operations and supply chain management in communities.

The four responsibilities include promoting operations & supply chain management as a profession, encouraging peer-to-peer networking between our members and collaborate with other organizations committed to improving the competitiveness of San Diego County based manufacturing, distribution and service providers.
VISION:
To inspire individuals and organizations toward lifelong learning and to enhance individual and organizational success.
MISSION:
To offer high quality education in operations and supply chain management, promote networking opportunities, advance the abilities of companies to compete in today’s global marketplace and continuously improve the Chapter by focusing on our members’ needs.
GOALS:
  1. The educational offerings, products and services of APICS will be market-driven and accessible on demand.
  2. APICS will be recognized as the source for state-of-the-art information (Body of Knowledge) in all aspects of integrated resource management.
  3. Organizations and individuals will find certification of professional expertise available through APICS of value.
  4. Members will recognize APICS as a provider of value-added services and benefits to support growth and continued professional development.
